It very much seems like the Luna Display Mac app should be running in the menu bar. I can’t find the setting, though. Is it there and I’m missing it? If it’s not there, please add running in the menu bar as a feature in the future.
First time I used the app, I thought the same thing…this should be a menu bar app and not be running in the dock or taking up space on the desktop when it’s activated. A few other things would also be really nice:
- remember display settings. I’m using it essentially as a Remote Desktop, and it would be nice if it remembered that I want to mirror the display each time. I’ve mapped a keyboard shortcut to do this, but it took me a while to figure it out.
- Stop the app from popping up “Open the Luna Display app on your iPad”. After the first run through the program I really don’t want this on my screen anymore.
- Option to hide the display settings when the iPad connects. Again, I just want it to remember the settings and stay hidden in the menu bar.
